This is my Twisted Reality Contest Entry! I have never done this type of skin before, nor have I done a contest, so HERE I GO!

This unnamed king was a ruthless conqueror of all, he always sent a large army into kingdoms that he disliked. He would send assassins into accused dissenter's homes and they would walk out with a bloody dagger. Little did this king know that his peers were plotting against him, as well as his townspeople. A public meeting of royalty, was held, and he was the first there. He noticed shifting shadows on his way to the meeting room, and as he sat down, he felt unbelievably sick. He was nauseated. As his peers sat down, one put his hand up high, and twelve men in black robes came from behind the columns. In an instant, the king was on the ground, writhing in pain, his body bloodied and broken. The man he knew as a duke looked down on him. The duke explained to this selfish, dying king that this was an example of what people do to fools, and the king blacked out. He awakened in a dark room, his vision impaired by a sort of mask, and he was shackled by his arms and legs. A sudden explosion startled him, and he thought it was just fireworks from a celebration of his overthrowing. The dungeon was soon flooded with troops, but they did not bear his coat of arms. He decided now was his time to escape. He tried to call for help, but what came out was different from what he told himself to do. The troops looked at him, bewildered, some whispering that this man was mad. The troops agreed to leave him in the wild, saying that he'd die anyway. As soon as he was thrown on the ground, he hobbled away slowly, into the forest, out of sight. Months later, people hear rumors of several kings being killed in their rooms, by a man in an iron mask.
