Once, long ago, a bird-like creature interfused with a lizard... and the result was bizarre. A creature VERY much like a dragon was created, yet the 'dragon' had feathered wings and a furry mane.
She also obtained a powerful amulet that allowed her to do many things - shapeshift, breathe fire, heal wounds, and travel between dimensions.
(Okay, really, Goldenfire is a dragon. She was born from two dragons. End of story.)
