The Flame Adepts, better known by their society's public name: Adeptus Draconis, are master psychics. Their primary focus is on the "mentalizing" of draconic powers. Rumor has it that their Society has somehow managed to reverse engineer dragonfire to it's (ele)-mental base, thereby converting it from a physiological ability to a mental faculty.
In short, they can now conjure dragonfire using the power of their minds!
This recent psychic development caused the Dragon Faithful (devout worshipers of the Dragon Elders and their descendants) to label the society as heretical and have begun drawing out plans for an extensive purge. This scheme may even prove successful... if they could just figure out where the Society members are located...
