This is Fox McCloud from the famous game series Star Fox. Beginning on the NES with the self-entitled game Star Fox, it was a whopping success. Production for a sequel on Nintendo's SNES began, but ended without an official release. Star Fox 64 came out for the N64, which was also a big hit. Continuing the success, came Star Fox Adventures and Star Fox Assault for the Gamecube. Star Fox Adventures took the form of an action RPG, and Assault a first person shooter. Star Fox Command came out for the DS, a third game to deviate from the classic fly and shoot arcade format.
