Gronjir was the leader of a pack of sled pulling huskies in the Inuit tribe Inuinnaqtun. He was born with a bright white coat, which the Inuinnaqtun tribe saw as a good omen. Gronjir was soon trained and learned how to pull sleds, find lost people, and carry packs. Gronjiro s greatest companion was a husky named Binjru, who, like the other pack huskies, had a brownish coat instead of white. Gronjir died by saving Binjru from a group of killer whales after he accidently slid into the icy water.
