Insurrectionists were a very large problem before, and in the beginning years of the Human-Covenant War in 2525.
The Insurrection started in the early 2510s, after the detonation of a nuclear device in a heavily populated civilian area. Since then, the UNSC has had numerous encounters with these terrorists, who want nothing more to be free from UNSC control...even if it means spilling innocent blood.
In this Skin:
This skin is based off of the rebels operation on Arcadia and Harvest, during the first contact with the Covenant. These rebels were armed with MA5 Assault Rifles and SRS99 Sniper Rifles. Other insurrectionist groups, however, only had access to MA3 rifles, and 30 cal. Machine Guns. Normally, these rebels would hide in captured UNSC Barracks or Firebases, and sometimes were hiding out in old Forerunner installations. Watch your back, these cut-throat rebels will do anything to kick the UNSC out!
