Recently I've gotten addicted to a visual novel (let's just leave it at that xD) called Katawa Shoujo. This game is essentially a dating simulator, but a hard lean towards visual novel. I all the characters are very likeable, and I urge you to check it out, even if you aren't into dating sims.
NOTE: This game has ADULT CONTENT, but can be switched off in the game menu. Just a disclaimer for younger downloaders.
Anyway, I noticed that there aren't many Katawa Shoujo character skins on PMC as is, so I decided to take interest in drawing one!
This character's name is Ikezawa Hanako; she was severely burned as a child and is extremely shy. I won't give away anything from her story, but it is one of my favorites of the six paths you can take :)
Anyway enough gushing, this is another attempt I am making at shading well and using the low resolution and hat layers to get the most out of my skinning. I tried to use the hat layer to easily show how her hair covers the scarring on the right of her face, and I've got to say; I'm pretty pleased with it!
However that doesn't mean YOU'RE pleased with it.
