Hugh Manatee, the legendary mermanatee. He's half man, half manatee. Protector of the manatees.
His mother was a normal manatee, though he felt he was never quite fitting in with the other manatees. When he grwe up he soon found out he had special powers, he could control the water and shape it as he saw fit. As a result the other manatees would soon worship him as a god. Which of course he was.
He took it upon himself to protect the manatees, he would fend off boats and make new water ways to create passage forthe manatees to new feeding grounds. Few people have ever seen him. Those who have are blessed by an eternal love for manatees and will also swear to protect them form harm.
