Ice Elemental

Deep in the frozen tundras lies an ancient and powerful ore, known as Everice, coveted by mages, alchemists, and even warriors alike, for it's immensely useful properties. Along with being able to store massive amounts of magical energy, it is also very useful in armor crafting, as it is near impenetrable without proper tools and skills, and acts as a natural absorbing agent for magical attacks.

Unfortunately for the souls wishing to attain this ore, nearly all of this powerful ore has already been discovered... by the ancients, no less. Finding the strongholds which contain the blocks of the material is difficult enough, as they blend with the snowy terrain, but even that is the easy part. Within the walls are often labyrinths, with only one store room. Even in the ancient times, the mages always wanted their hands on the ore. To protect it, they would use some of the ore itself, to create an elemental more powerful than most others.

Extreme strength combined with the toughness of the armored shell, with mystic water flowing to connect the pieces, their only weakness is the glowing gem functioning as their eye; once blinded, they must be avoided, incapacitated, or deconstructed by mages... Truly, the ancients created most devastating constructs to guard their troves of powerful artifacts.
