I decided to make up a character for the Arctic Skin Contest. So, here's the back story...

Icellia was born into a loving family. When she was 5 years old, her mother tragically died in a fatal car accident. Icellia was left with her two sisters and her father. The father decided to re-marry. The woman he'd married appeared to be a kind person, but the family was sadly mistaken. The father had gone onto a business trip and left the children alone with the step-mother. The step-mother, for some reason, extremely disliked the children. She told the father that she was going to take the children on a plane to take them on a trip. Little did the father and children know, though, the plane was headed for the Arctic. When the plane had landed with the children and step-mother aboard, the step-mother took the children out to a dock. She took the children onto a boat and sailed way out into the freezing ocean. As the children peered over the side of the boat into the water, the evil step-mother pushed the children into the freezing ocean. All of the siblings were separated. Icellia assumed that her sisters had died, so she attempted to swim to land. She then saw a large, floating iceberg and climbed onto that. She floated through the ocean on that iceberg for many months, and somehow survived without any food or water. One day, Icellia realized that her hair had turned to ice and her clothes were made of snow and ice. She also realized that the cold, frigid air no longer felt cold to her. She jumped in the water, hoping to be able to swim to land, when suddenly, where she'd touched the water, an iceberg appeared. She climbed up onto the newly-made iceberg and peered out across the ocean. She realized that this was her home now. She continued to live on icebergs for the rest of her life.
