Joan of Arc (her full name was Jeanne d'Arc) was born on January 6th, 1412 (happy day late birthday, Joan!) in France. She later led the French army to some important victories (though never actually fighting; she would run into the midst of battle and urge the men to keep going) in the Hundred Years' War. She was eventually burned at the stake when she was only 19 years old.I wanted to make a skin of her because I wanted to show that women could be quite as important in the Dark Ages as men.
