Joan of Arc in an incredible figure in our history. At 17 she was put in command of the french army, becoming the youngest person to command the armies of a nation. She was able to reverse a war that had been going on for almost 100 years that the french were losing. Also, her victories at Orleans and Patay are among the greatest in history. Her death was one of the greatest injustices of her time after she was charged of heresy and burned at the stake on May 30, 1431. It wasn't until 25 years after her death that she was proven innocent.
