The concept of the Pigman was originally suggested by Miclee, and received the Bacon Cape as a reward from notch. The Cape was taken away from Miclee as other users asked for personal capes to prevent further commotion.
NPC villages were originally going to be inhabited by Pigmen, but in the beta 1.9 pre-release, different villagers were added (you know, those 'Squidward' ones with the big noses).
This is the second skin in my derpy little skin series, my interpretation of a Pigman as a Villager. For some reason I really enjoyed making this.
