MINI CONTEST AT BOTTOM!
From the North West coast, Mayus, a young girl by the age of 15 in the year 1810, had her village burned down by a neighboring tribe. She was captured, and made a slave. Only wearing a skirt made of red cedar bark, and a shirt of elk furs, she escapes to her fathers tribe. her fathers clan welcomes her, and are surprised she made it away from the Haida. Her fathers clan feed her, and give her a place in their longhouse. She was nick named "Mayus" because of her looks and what she did.
Notes: The following picture is my inspiration for the skin!

To be honest, I am in love with this girl. Just everything about her makes me feel great. The problem is that I can't tell what clothes she was wearing, so I had to improvise. Boy that sounded wrong. Anyways, the main part of this skin, was the face. The red "war" paint and the way she looked at me......I must find the painter for this and ask who modeled for it.
Mini Contest:
For this "Mini" contest, you must find out what the girls name "Mayus" means and what dialect its from. The first person to do this gets a custom skin. Note that the custom skin must be Native American or Colonial.
