Once upon a time, there was a monk. He had to go on a quest to find a goat for his neighbor, Tolruut Das Holvenn.
"Hello Monk!" Tolruut said. The monk walked faster. "Monk, are you going on that quest for me?"
The monk stopped. "No, not yet." Tolruut looked worried, and said "I will pay you handsomely."
The monk turned to face Tolruut, and said "Very well." Monk was only level 7, and had very low tier items.
Over the next couple of days, Monk traveled far and wide for Tolruut's goat. Eventually, Monk found a mountain in which lied a cave. Monk decided to stay for the night. Halfway through sleeping, Monk was awoken by a loud noise. It sounded like somebody was walking outside the cave. "Who's there?" Asked Monk. "Nobody. Replied a voice.
"Oh, very well." Monk slept on. The next morning, Monk awoke, refreshed and stiff from sleeping on the cold, rocky floor. He began again on his journey. Eventually, Monk came across a huge, towering, fiery castle sitting surrounded by a lava lake. Monk was about to walk past this anomaly, when he heard a roar. It was a dragon! "OH @#$!" Monk exclaimed. The dragon swooped down, flying past Monk. He landed, blocking Monk's escape. Monk pulled out his stone sword, threatening the dragon. Then, Monk tripped, and stabbed the dragon through it's heart. The dragon fell over, and Monk gained 500xp. "Yes!" Monk said, jumping in the air. Out of nowhere, Monk heard a "Baaa." from behind his back. He turned to find the goat, in perfect condition.
Days later, Monk returned scarred and charred from his long, adventurous journey.
Tolruut was sitting on his front porch, whistling a tune. "Tolruut, I have returned with your goat!"
Tolruut turned, smiled, and said "Benjamin, I have the goat you were looking for!"
Monk was surprised, turned to find a large round man standing behind him with a huge bag of gold.
"Here's the goat, and I'll take that gold." Tolruut said. The fat man tossed the bag of gold at Tolruut, and grabbed the goat by the horns. He stomped off, causing the ground to shake. "Is THAT my pay?" Monk asked eagerly.
"What, this? Ohh, nonono... Haha, this is my pay! I was selling the goat to Benjamin!" Tolruut said.
Monk was surprised. "Where is my pay?" Tolruut reached into his pocket, and pulled out a handful of rocks.
"Have a good day, Monk!" Tolruut walked off.
THE END.
