This is Morana, a Slavic Goddess of winter and death, the mistress of the long, cold winter that left desolation in her wake and was feared by the Old Slavic. People would don masks and attempt to chase her, frighten her away in a ritual of mackare, during the month of March.
She's usually described as a dark-haired woman with a terrifying appearance - I decided to make her pretty. =)
