This is my entry for the Gods and Goddesses, skin competition.The skin is of Nharkades (pronounced Nark - aids) who is the God of the Neather. He is never seen without his battle gear on, and is often seen in a carriage pulled by a host of Ghasts. He feeds from the energy of the Soul sand and lurks within his great temple hidden in the fiery depths.
This skin was my first real attempt at shading and took me several hours, I know it is not perfect but I hope to hear some feedback from you all!
I started off by looking at equivalent 'Gods of the Underworld or Hell' The main one that came up was the Greek God Hades. I looked at this image for inspiration - Hades
Hades, with red eys and a horned helmet.I then wanted to get his chest plate/armor to look like a Spartans chest plate. So I had a Google and took inspiration from this image - Spartan
