The Omega Metroid, the final growth-stage of the standard Metroid not in possesion of the special gene to become a queen. The Metroids were once created by the Chozo to keep the notorious X-parasites from flooding planets and their eco-systems. Upon it's re-discoverey by the Space Pirates both them and the Galactic Federation have made attempts to modify, mutate, clone and control them for use as bioweapons because of their near invulnerability. Their only weaknesses are extreme cold and extremely heavy-duty explosions.This ultimate predator doesn't just posses the signature skill of their species of draining one's life energy, but can also accumulate a inflamable liquid similair to fuel gel which it can spit. At the same time it can ignite it by creating a dangerous electrical shock with its mouth and teeth. The native ability of levitation that Metroids have hasn't grown paralel to it's size, thus only being able to keep him slowly afloat in gravitational atmospheres similair to those of earth and SR388, it's 'homeplanet'. Having outgrown his levitational powers the Omega Metroid primarily uses his strong legs to get around, utilizing the massive claws on his limbs in combat.
Notes: The Omega Metroid in the game 'Metroid Fusion' had red eyes, but since the official artwork and the later released game 'Metroid Other M' depict Metroids with blue eyes I stuck to those. Also creating a translucent membrane over it's nucleus in it's front didn't work out so I tried making it look as accurate without it as possible.
