In a world that is so devasted by the famous event everyone on earth has been dreading, a man regains consciousness to find himself alone and stranded, with not even a rat around. He pulls himself to his feet with a great deal of effort, and finds a shard of glass on the ground. He picks it up, and, horrified by what he sees, lets it fall to the ground and shatter. Through the warped reflection in the glass, he saw that he was so mangled he barely looked human. He picks up a tattered grey cloth off the ground and covers his face that he is now so ashamed of. He has begun a new life, the life of a bandit and an assassin.
If he ever comes across another living being, he will make their life a living hell as he tortures the last light out of their eyes.
