Princess

This is a medieval princess. She is dressed in her every day outfit. Medieval princesses were raised to expect to be married, most likely to foreign kings or princes. They would be given a good education, because they might be expected to act as regent while their husbands were away at war (as medieval kings and princess very often were). Medieval queens and princesses were also expected to take an interest in charities, hear petitions from the poor, endow hospitals and monasteries. Religion would be a very important of their lives, they would go to Mass every day and pray often.
