After losing his beloved spaceship, Rex used his rocket hands and feet to blast himself to a nearby planet, Torzo. finding himself in the middle of a rage induced tribal war. He quickly hid behind the rock of a thousand souls, where the natives dumped all the rotting corpses. The battle started to settle so Rex peered around the side of the immense rock were he spotted a horrifying sight a tribe devouring the opposition. Rex then decided to get out of this crazy place as soon as possible. He hastily took off into the fiery atmosphere and kept soaring through space until he reached another new planet, Umaga. In no time at all, he reached the surface of the polluted planet, found a place to sleep, and settled in his new found cave. The next morning he awoke to find himself engulfed in steam. Panicking, he stumbled out of the cave that had quickly turned into a heat vent from the planets core. He explored the rest of the nearby surface and found a small, sooty spaceship. He had just started to sneak up to it when he noticed a creature lurking in the bushes. He crept closer to inspect the mysterious creature. Suddenly he felt a hand grip his shoulder and trembling wrist. The next thing he knew, he had been handcuffed with special laser cuffs reinforced with tungsten. The mysterious creature started questioning him in a low, oddly familiar voice. He tried to remember where he had heard the voice before. After a while of thinking, he realized that it was his old bounty-hunting partner. Rex called out his com-padre's name; 'Jason'. Jason realized the situation and started to slowly and quietly talk; 'Rex... You're back...'
