The Blademaster is the artisan of the sword and the most skillful, well-trained and versatile man of technique and ability. Though a Blademaster has immense proficiency in all types of bladed weaponry, he generally will have chosen a single weapon of either superior craftsmanship or sentimental value. For instance, an ancestral sword or a katana of a particular smith. He fights mainly with this weapon, and is extremely deadly with it.

Blademasters do not find any use for heavy armor, nor even light leather. He will rely entirely on his ability to defend himself with his weapon and agility, which allows him to easily dance right behind an opponent and strike from behind, or even attack by quickly climbing up a tree and pouncing from above. Overall this helps him to overcome even the toughest, well armored enemies.

A Blademaster can vary in his morals or cause. One may live in the mountains, raiding a nearby village for easy gold, while another may be a loyal guardian of the Emperor himself. In any case, Blademasters spend a great deal of their time training with their blade.
