The year is 2957, and the world has been reduced to an irritated wasteland after an all-consuming nuclear war. Saxon C. McCloud was a Colonel in the Royal Scots Dragoons before everything changed. He and his unit were stranded, having lost contact with tac-com, in the fortress known as Edinburgh castle. He and his men established a small fiefdom, offering protection to all the near-by villages that survived the holocaust that befell the Earth in return for their allegiance. He and his band of former Royal Scots Dragoons, traded in their now nationless uniforms and obsolete tanks, for plate armor and horses, harkening back to a time long since past into the annals of history. The o Aberdeen Templarso as they became known, became the lords of Scotland and soon united the rest of the British Isles into the start of an ever-expanding empire that sought to bring Man back from the dark ages.

All was going well for King Saxon until his vassals became corrupted and entranced by their titles. Falling to the vices of luxury and wealth their lofty positions and commissions afforded them, they ultimately lost sight of Saxon's guiding ideals. In disgust of their vanity and shallowness, Saxon would abandon the dying nation he ratified in search of like-minded individuals all across mainland Europe in the hopes of one day reforging a sovereignty that would rescue Mankind from its anarchical purgatory.

The skin was a lot of fun to make, and It's nice to make a texture that isn't 99% grey scale for once!
