Scout - Medieval contest skin - With a story

"Are you ready?" Captain asked. "Yes." This is my first mission. 6 years of training is over now. "And remember. Kill only if you get noticed. But do it fast and silently." "I'll remember that." "Go now."
I'm sure I can handle this. Captain encouraged me enough. One year ago this war started. We've lost lots of people but so has the enemy. Now I move silently as the darkness itself. Finally. There's the camp I'm supposed to spy.
"Three no four tents. And three men guarding. Where are the others? I'll find it out soon." I don't make any sounds as I move in this forest. There should be somekind of captain in this camp because one of the tents is bigger and has a flag on it. Sounds. I don't move. It's a rabbit. Just a rabbit. I move closer to the camp and now I see that more guards come from the forest.
"Okay. there are six guards now." I think. "What's that? Darn it! They have a swamp dragon there! This won't be as easy as I thought. But if they have a dragon there... Oh no! There must be a wizard and a dragontamer in this camp! Those always are in same camp. That's one of our enemys strategies." I change my place and I think at the same time: "Okay I know enough." Then the dragon smells me...
The dragon makes a low howl. One minute and the tamer and the wizard are there.There's no time anymore. Before I start moving as fast as I can but quietly I see that a captain and six other men come from the other tents.
"Release the dragon!" someone shouts. I hear this: *Clink* *clank* and a big ROAAAAAARRR! Okay. I'm out. I hear that it starts following me and after the dragon comes the others. Now I really hope that Captain is where he is. And I get there before the enemy.
"There he is!" I think. And with 15 men. But we are no match for the enemy not much from behind me. "They have a swamp dragon! I couldn't do anything that it smelled me!" Captain sends immediately his hawk with a letter that asks reinforcement immediately. "Well you couldn't do anything about it!" Captain says. "Those dragons have too good sense of smell! We can now only defend ourselves and wait for the reinforcement."
"There they are!" someone shouts. "Go and guide reinforcement here!" Captain says. "But I want to fight!" I answer. "You better guide them here or we may everyone die!" He says. "Okay I understand." I answer. Then I start to run and I hear that a dragon roars. Will I be fast enough to guide them here?

So this is my contest entry. A brave scout.
Weapons of choice: Crossbow, dagger and a sword.
