My take on Steve, the classic and default face of Minecraft.
This skin is also compatible with the Animated Player Mod
This skin neither used:
Preexisting skins by other members, skin-making programs or official Minecraft textures.
This was made from scratch, by me, using my style of shading, the same style you'll find on ALL my skins. The only thing on this skin that looks like Steve are the COLORS. Change those, and this wont look much like Steve anymore, as shown on my recolor.
Where ever the idea came from that a large portion of this skin is using the default skin from is dumbfounding.
Thank you to my <3 moderator that restored this skin after it was wrongfully deleted by another for being a 'default Steve recolor'. For as the prof of concept I sent to them showed, change the shirt and pant color, and it in no way looks like Steve. Let alone a 'recolor' of the default skin.
Also to be fair, when you also have THIS skin (that is also very nice), that also happens to be posted by another moderator of all people..... it's just... really?
