The Swiss Pikemen were best known for their "Pike Square" formation, which devastated Charles the Bold's army, at the Battle of Nancy in 1477.

(PS I couldn't find many good sources, for what Swiss Pikemen actually wore. So I have no idea how historically accurate his uniform is.)
