Symbiotic Aliens

On an alien planet one creature with a frail body, and the other who lacked optical sensors have evolved into a relationship of survival.

So these are two aliens, one getting a piggyback on the other. One has a higher intelligence and better sense, and the other has great strength and fortitude. Separately they are not fit to survive on their home world but partnered they can manage.

Basically my idea was that both of their species have a relationship with the other, they are kinda brought up from conception as partners.
