Talise- Goddess of the River

Watching over the river and providing life to all life around to the animals and the plants. Legend has it that people have seen her at midnight sprinkling dew across the grass. She also watches over the near by village and provides for them in troubled times.However, if the people of the village anger her by littering her river, she has been known to cause terrible floods.
One story tells of very ill man. Everyone in the village were certain that he was about to die, but he had faith. One night on the full moon, he was visited by Talise where she told him to bathe in the river every day for 5 days. The ill man listened and did as she said. On the 6th day, the man was completely healed and felt young and fresh! He is now the village's priest, where he reminds everyone of Talise and her gifts to the village and the world.
