The Night The Moon Changed

The Earth has been over run by the next door universe. All the dominate life (Humans) has been slaughtered and throw into a giant heap of death. The new rulers of the planet needed somewhere to put it "Why not the Moon?" They thought. So they flew up to the moon and dumped all the lumps of flesh, bones, and blood unto it. However they didn't park close enough when dumping all the humans, so only half of the bloody lumps got to the moon making it a brown-blood dried splotchy mess, and rings of bloody lumps circling it.
