The days are shorter, and the weather is colder. And all the elves are busy making toys with just one night left to go. The hustle and bustle inside the workshop signals another Christmas coming, and Santa is checking his list to see that all the boys and girls have been good this year. But outside in the cold wind, beyond the icy metal fence which encloses the Workshop and the Sleeping Quarters, the Head Lumberjack of the North Pole hacks away at a pine tree. 15 other lumberjacks work too, but this man is by far the most important. He is in charge of all his men, all the tree that will be cut down, and all the trees that will be planted to replace the ones being chopped down. All the wood is used to heat Santa's headquarters. The old man straps five to six logs to a reindeer and sleigh, and the elf in command of that sleigh takes it back onto the premises to be chopped up and packed away. Weather beaten, but still jolly, the North Pole's Head Lumberjack works day and night to insure everyone up north stays toasty warm and is able to continue making toys for all the nice boys and girls.| Description | Link | Type | Not mirrored because |
