The WampaWampas are a predatory species inhabiting the frozen world of Hoth in the Outer Rim of the StarWars Universe. The wampas have yellow eyes, sharp yellow teeth and a nasty set of claws and can grow to heights of up to three meters.
These creatures are fierce hunters that use their dense white fur as camouflage against the hilly snowscape of Hoth. Wampas are at the top of the food-chain and feed mainly on the tauntauns travelling in herds through the blizzard-ridden planet.
These ice creatures attack anything in their territory and take them back to their caves while still alive to feed on at the wampao s own leisure.
Wampas live in caves that they insulate with their shed fur to protect against the subzero temperatures at night. Their caves reek of their half-eaten prey fermenting. The wampas often leave their caves to find a new living place because of the unbearable smell.
