The 9th regeneration of the Time-Lord known as the Doctor. The War Doctor, or Warrior, did not use the title of the Doctor as he considered his actions during the Time War too severe and monstrous to allow them to have happened under the sacred name. He appears in the Day of the Doctor as a major character.
