Due to a declining population of bees, an organization, known as Atep pulled together assets, to do research on the subject.
Over the years, the organization's gross declined due to their research going nowhere, and leading to a large portion of their members to up, and leave the large group. One of those people, had snuck out whatever research Atep had pulled together.
Skip forwards a few tens of years; the one man whom crept away with Atep's knowledge of bees, had came up with brilliant ideas helping in human mobility. Though, him straying away from the original research, he did still keep his ideals revolving around bees. He's managed to come up with a form of prototype, a sort of free falling suit, only that it keeps a man in flight all on his own. Using this, he would bring together money from all sorts of stalk holders, and mass produce his product.
Twenty or so years later, his bee-based suits would bee keeping men, and women a like, flying above the clouds. Cities would be built upon the same technology that his bee suits were based off of, and mankind would truly be soaring up in a higher atmosphere on their own. They would all truly be "Above The Clouds".
How does it work, you might be asking? Well, when wearing the suit by a person, the arms and legs would expand outwords, meaning that the suit, and not the person would be expanding on it's own. When near a gust of wind, the running, and jumping motion of the person would be more than enough to cause the wearer to be brought up into the air, and fly.
