A creature; an animal.  Well, it certainly isn't human, at least not any more.

Down in the caves, left to rot.
Leave them again, he would not.
Wandering blindly, silently, slowly.
Thin, vengeful, weak, and bony.
Thinks of humans once again.
Revenge.
