Lyridian

Lyridian is a mage who specializes in the magic of water. She considers herself an aqua-mancer. She can bend water, freeze it, purify it, and boil it all with her powers. One day, a mysterious parasite invades her villages water supply. She decides to take it upon herself to fix it. The magic she uses goes horribly wrong and floods her entire village. It kills everyone except for her. Horrified with herself, she runs away into the forest, swearing to ever preform magc again. After a long time of running in the woods, she happens upon a quaint log cabin. Lyridian is extremly weak and tired, and she collapses on the porch. When she wakes up, she is in a soft bed, with another girl and a fox in the room. Lyridian feels completly refreshed and asks who this strang girl is. She says her name is River and her pet fox is Vixen. The two get to know each other and River allows Lyridian to stay. Lyridian tells River about what happened and how she will never do magic again. River teaches Lyridian how to control her powers and how to use magic for good. Together, they learn from eachother and become like sisters.
