Nut

Hello!
This is my interpretation of the Egyptian Goddess of the Sky; Nut.

~Story~
Nut is the daughter of Shu and Tefnut. (God of Wind and Air, Goddess of Rain and Moisture) In some legends, she is Geb's (God of the Earth) wife, and in others, she's his sister. Either way, they still share a connection. Originally, she was the Goddess of the Ngiht Sky, but now she is referred to as the Goddess of Both Skies. 

The Myth of Nut and Ra
Ra (Sun God) was the second god to dominate the world. Ra was a powerful ruler, but he was afraid of another deity stealing the throne. He discovered Nut was having children, and he was outraged. He said "Nut shall not give birth any day of the year."  At the time, there were only 360 days in a year. Nut spoke to Thoth (God of Wisdom), and he had a plan. Thoth gambled with Khonshu, (God of the Moon) who was Ra's rival. Every time Khonshu lost, he had to give Thoth some moonlight. Eventually, Thoth had enough moonlight to make 5 extra days. Because these days were technically not part of the year, Nut was allowed to have her children. She had 5: Horus the Wise, Osiris (God of the Underworld), Set (God of Evil), Isis (Goddess of the Rainbow ((I think))), and Nephthys (Goddess of Death). When Ra found out, he set Geb and Nut apart forever. Her father, Shu, was supposed to keep them apart. Nut did not regret her desicion 

Explanation of Why I Made this Skin
Once upon a time, I was sitting in my bedroom wearing fuzzy cat pajamas. I went on PlanetMinecraft and saw a new competition. So, I thought I should do it. I am, afterall, an okay skin maker. The challenge was deciding on what to make! Uh oh. I had recently finished an AMAZING book called "The Kane Chronicles" #ShamlessPlug, and I remember reading about a Sky Goddess. I went to my best friend, Google, and looked up "Nut". Well, the contest was "Above the Clouds" themed, so why not make a skin of the deity who literally owns the skies?
And so, I had my idea.
