Description from original post (created 2014-05-20 19:49):

She is the princess of the fire.. So be careful~  It would mean so much to me if you could tell me you liked the story or not! I'm not exactly an experienced writer. -Glaczy

The Princess of the Flame was always a troubled one. As a young child, she often blamed her parents for everything when she was stressed. Her mother died while searching  for rare mushrooms for stew in the forest when she was at a yong age. As a result, she hated her childhood, and her parents even more. With such firery temper, the villagers' children were terrified of her. Their parents would cover their windows and lock their doors whenever the Princess walked on the path to the villagers' houses.

The Princess hated the village even more than the villagers' children feared her. She wished that the whole village would burn to the ground with only remnants of blood and ashes

She hated even her father, who wouldn't allow her to visit the nether.
" Absolutely ridiculous! No daughter of mine is going to risk her life in that hellhole! "
Her father harshly objected.
"It's my life! I can do what I want with it. You can't stop me from living my dream.

"Don't you dare! You are grounded for life! AND I MEAN IT!

"WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? LOCK ME IN MY ROOM? I DON'T HAVE MUCH A LIFE WORTH LIVING FOR!

The Princess broke two antique vases as she fled the palace, because as usual, she didn't get it her way. She cleched her amulet; her last gift from Mom and thought,  I'll show him. I'll go to the nether. Even if its the last thing I do.

It was already night out, and the full moon shone in the darkened sky. She sneaked off quietly, making sure her footsteps didn't wake the sound asleep villagers. The Princess stole from the black smith's workshop, taking a finely crafted sword, enchanted with diamonds and various gems, torches, and obsidian. A pick axe was lying next to the entrance, but she didn't bother to pick it up. 1. It was too heavy, and 2. Mining was commoner's work, as an excuse for having no mining experience in the past.

She approached a well-lit cave with ores and gems depleted. She wielded her sword in her right hand, staying on guard.  It was a vast cave, with some areas unexplored. She climbed the stones to get to the darkened area, almost slipping on a lose piece of cobble stone.

There was something up ahead; she could see a faint light. The Princess continued to climb, though it was difficult to do so while gripping her sword tightly In the distance she could see a lava lake.
So this is what lava really looks like. It's so beautiful. I can't even begin to imagine what the nether would look like! she thought, staring dreamily as sparks of the lava danced around the pool.

The Princess decided the make the portal here, and started to place the obsidian, five blocks tall, four across, that's right, isn't it? She thought. But how would I ignite it? She wished she come prepared. Then all of a sudden, the lava sparks caught on the obsidian. Impossible..I..I-No, this can't be happening. The portal activated. This is it. No turning back now.

She stepped into the portal, and closed her eyes while taking a deep breath. She slowly opened them, and was amazed at what she saw. In her eyes, the nether seemed so beautiful, with its lava streams, the golden swords of the zombie pigmen, and the foreign creatures that hid in the marvelous nether kingdoms. To anyone else's eyes, it would be a hell-ish nightmare with the word 'death' written all over it.

She walked closer to the edge of the netherrack cliff, gazing at what seemed to be an endless pool of lava. So this is what Father has been hiding from me all this time? I just wish- wish I could have seen this sooner. Lost in thought, the Princess heard a loud wailing and suddenly panicked, gripping her sword.

A ghast rose from the depths and casted a bolt for fire. The girl rose her sword and deflected it, sending the fireblast directly at the ghast. She continued to retaliate until the ghast floated towards the platform she stood on. Preparing for a fatal blow, she jumped up and slashed her mighty sword at it. The ghast sunk down and one of its jellyfish-like tentacles lashed on the Princess's leg.

Almost instantly, she dropped her sword and held on to the cliff and screamed out in terror. The ghast wouldn't let go of its grasp and she had no choice but to let go. Her left hand slipped, then her right. She closed her eyes and waited for her sudden death. How could a place be so beautiful... Yet so deadly at the same time?

The hellish creature yelped in pain as the lava caressed its body, killing it instantly. The Princess's amulet glowed and bathed her in a golden light and her brown hair ignited, but it didn't burn.

She opened her eyes and stared at the strange aura, lost in thought. After coming to her senses, she touched the lava. A bit warm, but she didn't seem to be effected by it in any way. The girl swam to a small island in the middle of the lake.

Confused and bewildered, she sat on the netherrack, trying to concentrate. It's the amulet, she thought, but how could it do something like this? It never protected me when I watched the blacksmith, with sparks flying everywhere. Frustrated, she screamed and clenched her fists; fingernails digging into her palms. Fire swirled around her then disappeared into thin air.

Realizing she had ablities to control fire, she decided to go back to portal, swimming across the lake and climbing netherrack cliffs to find an alternative path. This is the day vengence would strike. The Princess faded into the portal, with a devilish smile on her face.

Hours later smoke piled up in the air and the Princess(Now Queen), sat on a thick branch of a burning tree and watched as the world around her turned to ashes. There was screaming throughout the kingdom and ashes whistled with the wind.

Many villagers tried to put out the flames, but not even water itself could douse the fire.

In her deranged mind, this was her fire kingdom and she was queen of flames, blood, and ashes.

Well. That took about an hour to finish up. I'm thinking of redesigning her outfit and reshading hair. I know I haven't been active as much as I used to, but I'll start taking requests again and making more skins.
