Heya everyone, and welcome back to another DailyTT Submission.
In the next couple of weeks, as I am sure you are aware of, PMC is holding another official site contest and this one for the month was all to do with Life on The High Seas. I have really enjoyed skinning for this category, and I will share why with you in a moment.
I was browsing through the contest submissions as of yet, and seeing what everyone was putting out there, andthey were all fantastic! The skinning was absolutely superb, and it is good to see so many people getting involved. However a thought came across my mind - every 9 or so submissions out of 10 were pirates, mages, merchants, or monsters. And as you know a good section of the points awarded to the finalists are on originality. So, in the insy-winsy, tiny, minature hope that I could progress on this factor, I decided to make Rose Dawson.
Life on the High Seas, to me, isn't all about the pirating, and sailing, but the theme is more about the character you create with your entry. Rose, is showing that there can be huge amounts of elegance in the sea of unhygenic looters, and pirates that people picture with this contest. She is such a strong woman, and a true story, and so I decided to commemorate that in this skin.
The skin is based off of this image, the iconic Titanic Pose:Â
And so when you pose the skin, you can make it like so:
I did make a few adjustments, in the long hair, but did try to stick as much as possible to the base of the project.
