☣ᗷᓮ〇ᖺᗩᔓᗩᖇᕍ_ᓰﬡᑕ ☣ Scail

Once long ago there was a large and prosperous planet, in the Rider system, called Uthao (EWE-thoe). Uthao was inhabited by a race of bipedal humanoids, called the Scylithites (sil-eh-THIGHTS). The Scylithites were a wealthy and secretive race, they liked to remain secluded from the countless other peoples in the Rider System. They were a peaceful people, each Paciet (pah-SEET), or social group, respected the ideas and actions of all. Although many skirmishes did breakout in protest of unjust actions or prejudice, it was a fairly peaceful place.


In the Rider System there are currently three known planets, Uthao, Usilon (EWE-sil-on) and Rider Prime. Usilon was the neighbor planet to Uthao and the home of a war-like people called the Ursilites (ER-sil-IGHTS). The Ursilites had long squandered their natural resources and populace with long-term wars, they began to become wary of the effect their actions were having on the planet. They became frightened for the survival of their species. The tribes united and decided to invade Uthao. The plan was simple, they would first send to of their legions to the outermost cities of the Uthan Republic (a demi-government on the planet Uthao), then after conquering those cities they would slowly take territory by territory until they controlled all of Uthao.


Meanwhile on Uthao, the researchers of the Trans-Milthaen Oligarcy (yet another demi-government) had stumbled upon a catastrophic problem. The had discovered that The Rider system’s sun Clubos (CLUE-bose) had been progressively growing over the past celestial cycle. The calculated that if it kept growing at it’s current rate it would be only a matter of months until Uthao, the second closest planet to Clubos, would be consumed. In a desperate effort to save the system the researchers of all the governments united to try to stop Armageddon. Together they devised the GFMAD Device (Gravitational Field Manipulation And Distortion)(Girl Friend Mad?) (that was an accident :P). It projected an artificial gravity field into space then bentit around Clubos to steady it’s size changes. Many weeks later the device was near completion when suddenly large stellar warships could be seen filling the sky, and in the next moment trillions of pods began raining from the sky. Each pod contained one Ursilite Commando. The Scylithites activated the GFMAD and fled to the underground shelters in their main cities. The incomplete GFMAD succeeded only in slowing the rapid growth of Clubos. The Ursilites had already taken Uthao when they began to realize what was happening, the Clubos continued to expand and the surface of Uthao was scorched killing only the Ursilites. The Scylithites however were left in the underground shelters with little supplies. They quickly ran out of food and were forced to divide themselves into primitive tribes and practice cannibalism in order to survive. Eating their own flesh drove the Scylithites insane, they then forgot their names and language, all that remained was their new name the Scail (SY-el).


Now the Scail are a predatory species living in hiding underneath the barren surface of what was once Uthao, and their story still serves as a shining example of the importance of peace and tolerance in society.
