It was twelve years ago. Her mother was too poor to take her along to the United States when they were going to move from Italy. She was abandoned at the train station. No one even noticed her until later that evening when one of the workers found her laying on the bench in her blanket. So he took her in as his own and from that day on, her life revolved around trains. She never went to school or did anything a normal kid would usually did. She practically lived on trains. The smoke from the coal and stained her clothes and permanently coated her light blonde hair. She was still happy though. She never knew her mother had left her, but atleast she is alright and in good hands.
