Here is my skin for the contest and sorry for not uploading in a while just been busy yada yada yada. :)
Explanation:
This being is a creature that emits light from its mouth coining the name "The Beacon" or simply "Beacons" (not to be confused with the minecraft block). These creatures reside in caves but are generally rare. Most of the sightings take place about 100 meters below the surface. They are extremely hostile but mainly use ambush tactics on their prey. "Beacons cannot run over long distances but are very fast in short distances. They act like an angler fish luring lost animals and miners alike and making them believe that this is the light at the end of the tunnel, their escape from the cavernous depths of Minecraftia. They are drawn to the light and are mesmorized by the thoughts of escape that they don't realize they are walking to their demise until its too late. When meat is low they tend to feed off mushrooms that grow on the edges of cave pools. These creatures are believed to have originated from the nether due to their pigment and because they sleep in underground lava pools but are now only found in caves and caverns.. "Beacons" tend to stand at aproximately 5 blocks in height and weigh up to a tonne. Stay away from these creatures at all costs.
