After the "Great War" fungi once simple things like yeast and mushrooms started to combine with each other into to form great consciousnesses. The most terrifying of these were the Crypt. Able to incorporate stone found in the ruins of the world into there own bodies and not dying no mater how much they are cut or shot at. They now roam the lands that once brought hope to humanity
