My entry for the Life On The High Seas Contest, The Treasurer. NOT THE ONE IN THE GOVERNMENT. Now that I have made myself clear, onto why this has to do with life on the high seas.


  The Treasurer is a creature found on every ship in the land - even the sunken ones.
This strange creature's job is to protect the treasure found by the pirates who are on that ship.
The Treasurer's head resembles a squid, while it's body is built to look like the ship it has inhabited.
It uses it's body to hide, because it can camoflauge onto the ship to the point where it looks like a squid got on the ship.
If the attacker notices The Treasurer, it will attack.
However, if the attacker does not notice, then The Treasurer will wait, then attack randomly.
The Treasurer guards the treasure with it's life.
That is why they stay with sunken ships.
