Deep below the bedrock lies an advanced race of Villagers. These villagers have been underground for centuries, since the earth's apocolypse. For the first couple hundred years, they stayed inside vaults, and over time, began developing more steel and bronze for slight expansion of the vaults. They then discovered steam power. With this, they were slowly able to create machines that could dig deeper under the world and expand their tiny little vaults into gigantic cities of steel and bronze. Only one disadvantage has come from all this; so much steam was used that it built up in the atmosphere of the cities. They were hence required to wear masks so that they could breathe properly.Almost nobody has seen these people, or even knows of them. But those who have met them wish they didn't. They have been said to be very violent and cruel to those they see below them. So cruel that they are considered to be literal monsters and creatures of the deep.
