I have an idea in mind, and maybe there's an artist around here that could help bring it to life. In a manner of speaking. I desire a lich avatar. Now before you go running off to make some WoW or Adventure Time Lich King style thing, no. Just no. (sorry if that seemed snappy. just the frustration of trying to find a good lich image that isn't them) Reference photo to come.
Some points about this: No skull-face. A lich is not a skeleton. Now, Idunno how well this face can be replicated with a skin. The beard is optional. No beard may even be preferred. Mostly looking for that grey slightly green pallor, skin and flesh dried, clinging to the bone kind of look.
The clothing doesn't need to be too fancy. Give 'em a little decay, if you can. Not rags, but, significant age. Faded color. I like that purple-y blue there, with the gold fringe. But the faded is the important. The wraps around the hands in the photo is a nice touch, but not necessary if it proves too difficult.
I know it's not a full body pic, but it's the best one I could find that really has the lich look I like. But I think extending the robes to the floor would suit the skin just fine. Feel free to embellish a little bit.
Now, that alone would be wonderful, and I'd certainly be happy for it. But here's the real challenge. Something I only sorta think I can do with a minecraft skin. Would it be possible, using the layering options, to basically have that same skin prior to the decay? Trying to think how best to word it. Basically, a lich can often present the illusion of how they were in life, hiding their necromancy from others. I would really, really like to be able to kinda have that normal look available, with the ability to strip it away to reveal the true self.
If that part is too much, or maybe minecraft skins don't quite work the way I wish, oh well. The lich part is what's important. The extra bits would just be icing on the cake.
