boy turning into stone

This boy would always hang with his friends and they would always tell scary story's and one of the story's was a legend and the legend goes,


"there's a legend that is said to be real it is if you wear any thing with R.I.P. on it you will be marked for life and on every Halloween one out of all the people that wore R.I.P. will be selected and on the stroke of midnight they will turn to stone but there not dead they are alive but blind so they will die of starvation"


This boy never believed this legend. One day he and his friends were playing truth or dare and he got dared to wear something with R.I.P. on it so with out hesitating he put a hoodie on that had R.I.P. on the back and when he did he felt a chill down his spine but he just thought it was one of those chills you get when its chilly out side. Its 8:52 pm and its Halloween and as he and his friends are getting ready to go trick or treating he has another chill down his spine but this time he hears the legend in his head and at the end of it he hears in a creepy voice, "you've been marked." but he just thinks its one of his friends trying to scare him. 10:37 pm he is at his house and cause he is a night owl he lays down on the couch and plays on a his phone for awile. 11:30 pm he gets a chill down his spine and he hears the legend in his head and at the end he hears in a creepy voice, "you've been marked. prepare to die!" then the tv turns off but he didnt turn it off he looks around the house but no one is there he starts to freak out. 11:59 pm he is in the corner of the room crying out of fear its now that he believes the legend. Then he gets a chill down his spine and he hears the legend in his head and at the end he hears in a creepy voice, "you've been marked. i hope your ready. 3 2 1." just then the clock strikes 12:00 am and he starts to turn to stone and the stone is starting to blind him it doesn't take it long for him to turn full stone. Soon he will die of starvation.
