"Aah, man. Halloween wears me out."Jason was always the odd kid out. He grew up being the 'lonely' one, always sitting in the back corner of the class. He was a stick in the mud, as his parents called him. He had five other siblings, his family being catholic. His parents were strict, and he could never meet their standards. Living in a big, pretty house, with beautiful siblings that all grew tired of his presence quickly, his mother absolutely hated him the most. She grew his hatred into a fire, she turned him into what he was. Each night, whenever he would make a mistake at the Dinner table, which he always would because she would force it, he would have to sleep out on the porch. He had no friends to sleep over with, his loneliness ringing amongst his eardrums time and time again. Each holiday he'd amass a bigger sense of distrust for his life, slowly inching closer and closer to suicide. One day, upon Halloween, he decided that he'd trick his parents. He cut off all of his hair, shaving the rest as the automatic razor blades barely skinned his temple from his carelessness, as he donned a knife, brandishing it slowly as he came up behind his mother. He yelled at her, raising the knife as she let out a howling, deafening scream of hopelessness, as he, within the millisecond, found his life's calling. It was this scream that gave his sick, beaten, battered sense of morality strength. He, instead of jokingly saying "You idiot!" or something of the sort, continued with the crime, as he then with a hoarse tone spoke,
"You wouldn't have bought me a Halloween costume anyways,"
Taking upon the one act that brought him happiness.
My god. I think I have just gone a tad bit insane by writing that.
I AM NOT USUALLY LIKE THIS, BUT I LOOOOVE HALLOWEEN. I reeaaaally wanted to apply for this contest, because not only do I absolutely adore Halloween, it being my favorite Holiday, but I love PMC contests. The idea is so great, having so many people group up together to boost self esteems and creativity and all of the like! It's amazing, so I'm glad I could participate in this chanced event.
