Dying Bonfire

I made some nubby poetry for this :D

The bonfire watches, warm and sweet


As the people go round


As it watches their feet


Its roots of embers spread through the ground


Through the smoking skies it continues to pound


But its life-long dream must come to an end


With no fuel to burn, it begins to go down


And it’s finally at peace
