Male Mountain Troll

Female mountain trolls are big and burly, but the males are absolutely enormous. They are less social than females, but easier to befriend (if you are honest and hard-working). Males and females also use different types of magic, with males' being more ritual-based and females' being more intuitive. Male trolls sometimes eat other trolls' children, so in large groups it is common for children to remain in a designated area that is off-limits to males. Trolls are vulnerable to sunlight and will turn to stone if it touches them, so they are nocturnal and usually hide in caves or underground during the day.
