A simple plumber who got sucked down an old drain pipe and landed in the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario has rescued the fair Princess Peach on multiple occations.
His time in the Mushroom Kingdom gave him a form of Pyrokinesis, with which he throws fireballs at his foes.
